We had a wonderful, long weekend, apart. AJ, BJ and SJ took a long road trip to Grand Junction, CO for AJ’s best friend’s wedding. They had fun and it was very rewarding for AJ to be there for Tony. The 2 boys got to see things and experience things that they have never gotten to see and do before. They went to Colorado National Monument ( the boys loved it! ) and went on a hike, and they got to go to Thanksgiving Point outside of SLC on their way home and go through a big dinosaur museum. Tony’s wedding was at a vineyard and all of the guests stayed there. The boys thought it was really amazing.
IJ, LJ and I headed to Star to stay with my M&D for the weekend. It was fun and relaxing. We went to McCall on Saturday and I LOVED it. I could live there (I would have to be a millionaire!), it is sooo beautiful. We shopped, ate at the famous Pancake house, and had a picnic along the lake. We had a blast playing in the water. On Sunday, we went to church and stuck around the house. We roasted marshmallows that evening in the backyard, yum! Monday we went shopping and I finally got to eat at Costa Vida.
It was good to all be reunited last night and to sleep under one roof. AJ wishes that we had just “bit the money bullet” and had me go with him. Oh well, I know we all enjoyed ourselves.
